This is a REMOTE long-term contract opportunity for 6+ months for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Tester with a strong grasp of frontend testing, validation, regression, automation testing and working in an Agile environment!

Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Senior Quality Assurance Tester to join our team. This is a 100% remote position, and the candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in QA testing, frontend testing, API automation tests, API tests, Selenium Web Driver, Java, Test Automation, Postman, Regression test, and Agile methodologies.

This is a 100% remote long term contract opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test strategies for complex software applications.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium Web Driver and Java.
• Create and maintain test data, test environments, and test documentation.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure the quality of the software after changes are made.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve defects and issues.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve the QA process by implementing best practices, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7-8+ years of experience in QA testing, frontend testing, API automation tests, API tests, Selenium Web Driver, Java, Test Automation, Postman, Regression test, and Agile methodologies.
• Automation / JUnit / API and Data setup
• Testing in either Java or JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
