About the role: As a Product Owner you will define the vision and scope of work for your delivery teams, partner with key customers and strategic partners, and leverage FIS' global reach and market insights to deliver continuous value to our merchants and their customers About the team: We are the team building Access Worldpay - a modern suite of payments APIs for global businesses that offer superior quality of service and rapid product development Access Worldpay will be the 'single way' in for the world's largest payment services provider We use cloud-based microservices, an obsession with quality and DevOps techniques . alongside developer centricity, and a product approach to quality of service What you will be doing? You will ensure that Access Worldpay can produce great merchant outcomes for their global card payments. This will include global coverage of consumers across channels, high acceptance rates, competitive costs, and a superior quality of service (reliability, performance, operability) - across a distributed architecture and organization - while meeting high standards of security and compliance all via a single, simple integration at low total cost of ownership To do this you will develop insights on our customers and market, apply a data-driven approach to decision making, building a strong vision, and creating opportunities to innovate whilst delivering incremental value in your cross-functional product-engineering team. You will work across organizational boundaries to ensure we offer coherent, consistent, and compelling end-to-end propositions You will make use of your skills in thought leadership, curiosity and insight generation, customer centricity, strong communication, collaboration and influencing to make this happen. Specifically, you will: Understand requirements and the business drivers behind them Collaborate with Agile delivery squads, defining requirements using business examples Backlog creation, ownership, and refinement Definition of acceptance criteria in the form of BDD specifications Help the team drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, sprint demos, retrospective, and daily stand-ups Set sprint goals Make decisions and accept changes delivered during sprint Understand and define key questions / decisions and identify the research or analysis that supports resolution Continually drive out insights in product performance, quality of service, costs etc. and help frame the 'so what' Manage stakeholders to secure agreement and alignment What you will need: Product Ownership skills and experience in a software development environment Business analysis skills & experience (Requirements elicitation, analysis, and rationalization), 80/20, Requirements elicitation, High quality documentation) Agile mindset - the ability to jump between vision, reality, insight, learning and incremental / iterative next steps along with a strong focus on value and results An understanding of quality of service in a Software-as-a-service provider End to end project lifecycle Stakeholder management Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and across organizational boundaries Added bonus if you have: An interest in APIs, their design and lifecycle Experience in financial services especially PCI-certified environments such as payments or e-Commerce Experience of working in a DevOps environment What we offer you: A career at FIS is more than just a job.
