This position contributes to Starbucks success by assuming end-to-end responsibility for the strategic value, usability, and performance of Starbucks' Portfolio Management tools. The Portfolio Management system will influence decisions across the enterprise. Our team designs, builds and deploys a digital ecosystem to elevate the Starbucks brand and grow our business acumen through technology. Our ethos is to amplify human connections, relationships and experiences. In this role, success as a senior product manager is shown through expertise in managing complex and ambiguous initiatives while managing cross functional expectations, including but not limited to, feature sets, problem areas, timelines, and change requests.
This opportunity assists in reimagining our portfolio management toolset and processes and begins a journey to develop and deploy the capabilities company-wide. We will be pioneering this effort on Microsoft's Power Platform, allowing for broader control and impact when compared to deploying existing packaged portfolio management solutions.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Manages product planning and development through day to day collaboration and decision making with a cross-functional team including architects, developers, designers and business or subject matter representatives
  • Work with a cross-organization group of stakeholders to identify the needs and requirements for our next generation portfolio management platform.
  • Partner with business stakeholders on problem definition & drive alignment on business goals, UX goals and defining target KPIs for the feature.
  • Documents feature requirements with corresponding success criteria clearly using project-defined tools (varies from user stories to techno-functional specifications); may include reviewing stories of various product owners.
  • Partners closely with UI/UX designers to capture and prioritize design elements within each feature
  • Effectively partners and collaborates with both senior leadership and working teams to position and support complex engagements.
  • Prioritization and ownership across multiple deliverables and cross-team initiatives
  • Manage multiple features and enhancements of medium-to-large scale & complexity; understands intra/inter team dependencies
  • Can define UX goals, KPIs, measurement plans independently. In addition, defines KPIs and goals for the pillar.
  • Perform Feature Readouts with 2nd level insights (broader and deeper hypothesis driven complete analysis) per measurement plan, identify proxy data sources as needed to troubleshoot issues.
  • Able to manage tradeoffs on scope, resources, timeline on multiple, complex feature sets
  • Responsible for successful execution of complex enhancements and new features against business goals
  • Communicates effectively with technology and business teams independently
  • Creates product update communications independently varying from release announcements to content for executive review and decision making
  • Acts as a coach/mentor to team on various product manager competencies
  • Stays abreast of new technology capabilities and leverages knowledge in contributing to product solutions. Recommends and plans innovative products and features.
  • Works with technical product managers and/or engineering to scope and prioritize upcoming projects into the roadmap
  • Manages a cross-team digital product roadmap
  • Builds effective relationships with key stakeholders and cross functional teams
