About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Operations Manager to head up our Channels team. The successful candidate will be running the “engine room” that powers Houst’s large short-term letting management business, directly responsible for our entire online presence across platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia and many others. You will build strong relationships with our channel partners, help determine our strategic positioning on the various platforms, and ensure that channel operations are run smoothly and effectively, maximising the success of our hosts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own operational KPIs for the channels team, including occupancy, generated enquiries, and listing creation speed & accuracy
- Analyse data and reports to identify areas for improvement
- Manage and grow relationships with our channel partners
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Onboarding, Commercial and Guest Experience to improve processes and maximise our hosts’ success
- Develop and execute projects that improve how we do things
- Manage and develop a team of Channel Management Executives
- Support channel operations where needed by creating and troubleshooting listings

Requirements - Previous experience in a senior position managing online booking platforms or channel integrators
- Ability to use Excel or Google Sheets to analyse data and present findings
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Resourcefulness, initiative, and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
- Extreme attention to detail
- Willingness to lead from the front and get into the trenches with team when there is the need
- Prior team management experience preferred
