Lets do this. Lets change the world! In this vital role you will be responsible for comprehensive planning and delivery of Amgens Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) program.

This leader will be part of the Operations Digital Technology and Innovation (DTI) organization. In partnership with Operations and key enabling partners, you will shape and complete Amgens PLM strategy to advance impact and efficiency across Operations. You will stand up new PLM capabilities, attract and manage talent, and drive innovation.

As a Senior Manager IS, you will:

  • Strategize, plan, and implement various phases of PLM roadmap with a clear focus on eliminating manual workflows, streamlined process, and enabling Digital Tech Transfer using Dassault Systemes 3DX platform and integrating with key Amgen platforms.

  • Own technology decisions and recommendations. Collaborate with Operations and DTI team to drive excellence in PLM processes, systems, and performance aligned with organizational priorities

  • Drive establishment of the strategic enterprise data model for product information

  • Develop a World Class PLM Product team.

  • Partner with Operations team and build one-on-one relationships with key partners to achieve mutual goals and enable Amgens Tech Transfer strategy

  • Manage technology innovation investments and vendor partnerships to drive efficiencies and enable advanced digital capabilities

  • Oversee implementation partners, vendors, and contractors to enable successful outcomes

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Masters degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Bachelors degree and 8 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Associates degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience

And

2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management practices in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries

  • Experience working with Dassault Systemes and hands on experience/knowledge of PLM platforms.Solid depth or breadth of expertise with offerings within the PLM solution landscape

  • Demonstrable ability to hire, train, mentor, and retain diverse talent globally.Experience leading distributed teams including external and offshore resources

  • Conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to navigate ambiguity, develop frameworks and distill complex information into concise and impactful messages/presentations

  • Experience directing solution design, business processes redesign and software implementation in a drug development clinical and commercialization environment

  • Solid project management, negotiation, planning, and organizational change skills

  • Understanding of FDA regulations governing computer system validation and operation in biotech manufacturing and laboratory areas

  • Experience in Agile Software Development Methods (e.g. Scrum), Scaled Agile or similar frameworks

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to set the context and present on complex subjects to senior management in clear and concise manner

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $149,062 - 178,617.
