Senior Legal Advisor role with a global provider of education and testing technology solutions.
Due to an increase in workload and a successful period of growth across the UK and US, and additional senior commercial lawyer is sought to join the existing team of 2.
Working as part of a collaborative, proactive legal team, you will handle a range of commercial work supporting stakeholders across the Group, in particular the sales and technology teams.
With 4+ years PQE, you will be comfortable negotiating, drafting and advising on a range of IT focused contracts including
SaaS contract clauses, supply contracts, T&C's, software development, sales contracts, licensing. You will also enjoy advising on IP and brand protection matters.
Additionally you will support the SLT and in particular the security team on compliance matters involving GDPR, fraud, money laundering, rolling out training across the business where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience gained either in-house or in practice as a commercial technology lawyer.
You will have experience of wide range of IT and commercial contracts, SaaS based products, IP and Data Privacy.
You will be a pragmatic problem solver, with genuine commercial nous and an ability to influence and build relationships.
The UK Head Office is based in West Yorkshire, however this role can be fully remote (with the occasional trip to HO for team get together or project meetings possibly twice a month). Ideally a couple of hours away would work - (Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, North East, East Midlands). Also 4 day a week role an option.
Salary on offer £70k-£75k basic plus benefits and of course the agility and flexibility that WFH can offer.
