As the Senior Key Account Manager, you will help establish the overall account plan for your assigned accounts, drive incremental organic revenue growth and proactively plan for renewals. In this customer-facing role, you will also act as the point of contact for resolving customer issues in collaboration with Operations. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Utilize a Voice of Customer (VoC) methodology to manage the customer experience within the company
  • Maintain accountability for growth while ensuring that GXO exceeds customers' Service Level Agreements and expectations
  • Provide leadership in customer relationship management, program management, participate in RFP responses, review Statements of Work (SOW), create/review Work Orders, lead QBR scheduling with customer and development of material with functional partner, escalate aged accounts receivable with the customer as needed, and more
  • Drive contract renewals by proactively working with the customer to renew their partnership with GXO while working with internal team members to develop the necessary solutions, pricing, building lease renewals, and amendments to support the renewal
  • Lead initial negotiations with customers and develop relationships to navigate both internal and external initiatives
  • Foster internal Cross-team collaboration to ensure timely responses to internal and external customers
  • Keep Salesforce up to date on all opportunities to provide accurate and timely financial visibility to senior leadership
  • Travel when appropriate to meet customers at the warehouse facilities or other locations for implementations, general meetings, QBR's, etc

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of combined experience in a voice of customer role, 3PL, program management, product management and/or logistics
  • Experience in account management activities and customer issue resolution

It'd be great if you also have:

  • Availability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Excellent program management skills
  • Self-motivated work style with effective time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
  • Ability to understand competitor strategies, products and pricing patterns
