THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Senior Innovation Analyst is a high-impact, high-visibility individual contributor charged with elevating the strategy and innovation reach and vision for the greater organization. This role is expected to influence the future direction of new programs, initiatives, and market opportunities through:
- Enabling the VP, Strategy & Innovation to focus more on strategic priorities by managing key executive assistant tasks.
- Enhancing the quality, capacity, and impact of innovation initiatives by actively learning the role, taking on more responsibilities, and progressively leading projects
The ultimate goal of this position and function is to elevate the portfolio’s growth, expansion, brand reputation, quality of services, and ability to positively impact access to care through strategy and innovation. Specific initiatives and areas of focus will naturally change dependent on highest priority areas of focus and industry opportunities in line with the spirit of innovation.
Executive Assistant Responsibilities include:
- Fully own coordination and preparation of key deliverables for meetings (including routine, one-off, 1:1, small group, and event/planning sessions)
- Schedule/reschedule coordination with meeting attendees
- Ensure key stakeholders and/or departments are represented, included, and available
- Creating slide decks, meeting agendas, project boards, feedback templates/survey forms, verbal or written updates, and action items
- Coordinates and ensures completion of all post-meeting action items
- Independently propose & implement enhancements for meeting & schedule efficiency
- Owns Schedule for VP, Strategy & Innovation including but not limited to resolving schedule conflicts, recommending prioritization, rescheduling meetings, and coordinating travel
- Owns management, alignment, coordination, development of content and ensures completion by deadline of Strategy & Innovation initiatives/sections for cross-department deliverables
- Owns management of emails and communications as-assigned for VP, Strategy & Innovation including triage, responding on behalf for low-level info-only requests, crafting recommended responses for review for higher-level communication, alerts of urgent items, creation of backlog and priority list for non-urgent communications requiring review/response/input
- Assists with development of resource requests and “what’s in it for me” messaging in establishing buy-in and attendance of key stakeholders or department representation for Strategy & Innovation meetings, projects, action items requiring collaboration, and initiatives
Innovation Duties & Responsibilities:
- Research & Development Discovery & Recommendations for New Programs & Competitive Enhancements
- Industry Trend Tracking & Reporting
- Identifies Available Data, Completes Public Records Requests, and Analyzes Industry Data to Create Consolidated and Meaningful Reports & Recommendations
- Identify, Recommend, and Attend (as assigned) Key Stakeholder Groups, Collaboratives, Conferences, and Networking Opportunities Focused on Industry Strategy & Innovation
- Support or Lead Strategy & Innovation Special Projects or Workstreams as Assigned
- Development of Skillset in Design Thinking and Other Innovation Methodologies
- Support or Lead Strategy Consultation Meetings As Assigned
- Develop and Recommend Organizational Growth & Efficiency Strategies
- Identify and Recommend New Innovation Opportunities to Track or Act and at what Level of Priority
- Research & Analyze Assigned Innovation Areas of Opportunity
- Development of Pitch-Decks and Supporting Materials
- Leads Creating Methods and Execution of Gathering of Cross-Functional Input, Pain Points, Considerations, and Recommendations from Stakeholders and Analyzes/Synthesizing Results into Digestible and Actionable Reports
This is a hybrid position, travel up to 15% of the time or as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 5+ years' experience in the healthcare industry
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, multi-priority, and rapidly changing environment
- Proven experience managing multiple deadlines, projects, and priorities at once
- Proven track record as a continuous learner interested in always staying on top of interests and industry
- Ability to feel confident and respectfully speak up in rooms with multiple levels of leadership
- Ability to maintain confidentiality on projects, initiatives, or discussions not ready for dissemination outside working or project groups
- Experience in innovation, design thinkin
