Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Vibrant publishing client is recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support a number of key application security projects. This is a fully remote role with the flexibility to work from home or the office.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide infrastructure plans, with clear scope, risks, designs, implementation using best practices
• Produce excellent high-level and low-level design documents
• Report on progress against milestones, deadlines, and budget to the Enterprise Infrastructure manager, and all relevant stakeholders
• Be the primary contact for existing and new network infrastructure requests
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders across the business
• Carryout regular firmware and maintenance on existing network services
• Maintain and support Virtual environments, Cisco VOIP, Windows servers 2012 - 2019
• Configure and monitor networking services using tools such as SolarWinds

Required skills include:

• Production experience deploying, maintaining, operating and tuning products end-to-end on Microsoft technologies e.g., .Net, IIS, SQL, Azure
• Ability to diagnose problems at any level (Client, HTTP/Network LAN/WAN, NAT, Server, Database, OS)
• WAF deployment across Web applications - previous Silverline WAF experience is advantageous
• Extensive knowledge of identity and Access security
• Extensive configuration, deployment and support of F5 LTM/DNS solutions
• Documentation of flow matrices and configuration of Fortinet Firewalls to security best practices
• A track record of delivering SSL
• Extensive knowledge deploying Attack Signatures and Threat Campaigns
