Position Title: Sr Financial Analyst 

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst (“FA”) will support the Corporate functions driving critical initiatives, supporting key financial decisions, and collaborating with various partners. The FA will provide strategic support by developing financial models and generating analytical insights to evaluate business opportunities. Responsibilities include budgeting and forecasting for corporate functions and also forecasting engineering investments, headcount reconciliation, and ad hoc analyses such as spend efficiency and initiative ROI. This role will also assist with creating the total company financial deliverables by rolling up work-product from the business unit finance teams. Further, the FA will drive innovation to improve our planning and forecasting tools and processes.

How you will make an impact

  • Collaborate with Engineering and Corporate business functions, and finance team members to create high-quality expense forecasts and evaluate financial and productivity performance
  • Forecast Engineering investments, operating and capital expenditures, and provide analyses of quarterly variances to forecasts with risks and opportunities
  • Support Corporate Finance and Accounting in the close process to ensure proper accounting treatment of capitalized labor process and expense coding
  • Source information for Engineering spend from key applications across the company and build accurate and scalable systems while considering efficiency and process
  • Leverage research and complex financial modeling to inform business strategy and evaluate key initiatives for strategic recommendations to the Executive Team
  • Prepare presentations and other financial materials for leadership discussions to evaluate different aspects of the business and drive strategic conversations
  • Perform financial analysis to identify trends and areas for process and/or reporting improvements

What you will bring to LTK

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in finance, accounting or other related analytical experience
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills -- including the ability to communicate complex ideas to a lay audience
  • Analytical, a problem solver, with strong attention to detail
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent teamwork skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work well with little supervision, and manage a number of projects simultaneously
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
  • Working knowledge of Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, SQL and Looker preferred
