Position description
The Sr. Engagement Advisor is a key component of the Center for Digital Health - Data & Analytics engagement model, providing a central point of contact and expertise for consumers who have data and analytics needs and are seeking guidance. The ideal candidate will have prior data & analytics experience, be familiar with the data & analytics ecosystem at Mayo Clinic and be able to rely upon their internal network of relationships to facilitate, guide, connect and coach stakeholders and consumers to data & analytics strategies and solutions to meet their business goals. The Sr. Engagement Analyst leads development of large-scale data strategies and possesses advanced knowledge of data & analytics technologies, capabilities, and methods. Receives direction from the DDA Leadership team and works in in partnership with other section and department members at all levels, as well as various physician and administrative colleagues and committees to understand overall data & analytics needs across our organization. Responsibilities include:
• Effectively and efficiently guides consumers to data and analytics products and services – within and external to DDA products and services
• Develops and fosters relationships with key stakeholders and customers through valuable interactions and high-quality service
• Leads development of large-scale data & analytics strategies to meet specific business needs.
• Works closely with business areas, stakeholders, and consumers to identify and prioritize key business needs, develop use cases, identify resources and budgets needed to meet the needs
• Serves as a navigator through the decision-making and prioritization process
• Partners with the data literacy team to inform the program and approach
• Contributes to DDA knowledge management efforts regarding existing needs, products, and services for customers
• Represents the voice of the customer across the DDA program and across data and analytics teams to develop a cohesive consumer experience
• Establishes and facilitates forums for collaboration in the data & analytics communities across Mayo Clinic
• Facilitates connections and interactions as needed across DDA teams to meet customer needs.
• Partners with Public Affairs and other teams to ensure the right marketing, communication and education is in place so that new data products can be easily and quickly leveraged and consumed by end-users
• Serves as a mentor for analysts on the team.

Bachelor’s Degree in business, administration, healthcare administration, analytics, or related field with 8 years of related experience; or Master’s Degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public health, or related field and a minimum of 4 years related experience

Additional qualifications
• Knowledge and application of data and analytics tools and technology and how this is applied to answer business questions, deliver insights, and how they can be productized is required (Data Visualization, Conversational Analytics, Data Virtualization, Analytics Methodologies and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning)
• Must have demonstrated competencies is strategic and systems thinking, business acumen, consultation and coaching, business case development, networking, leadership, customer service, and be able to handle and navigate ambiguous situations.
• Training, expertise and ability to navigate Epic Cogito, preferred.
• Experience delivering solutions and interacting with teams in an Agile framework
• Possess a consumer-centric mindset
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal business stakeholders, outside partners and information technology teams.

Exemption status

Compensation Detail
Required education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The salary range every 2 weeks is approx. $3,670.40-$5,138.40 based on a full-time position.
