Job Description

The Senior Director, Finance will be a business partner for the Healthcare vertical and will provide financial leadership on ad hoc projects across the Health business unit. This position interacts with all levels of the organization and has excellent exposure to senior management. It's a hands-on business partnering and analytical role in a fast-paced environment. As a leader in the small FP team the position leads the monthly financial planning and analysis cycle. The role requires a high degree of analytical insight, dedication, and strategic vision, to help support optimal business decision making. The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent organizational and follow through skills, a quick mind and the ability to manage multiple priorities. What you'll be doing Help oversee strategic and annual operating plans, quarterly and monthly forecast updates, predictive analytics, internal reporting and performance management against projections Drive the budgeting processes and optimize expense management within the business, driving efficiencies and ensuring that investments are suitably analyzed and operational costs appropriately controlled Support the month end accounting close processes and lead the preparation of all financial materials for management and operational reviews Lead the development and monitoring of key operational metrics to drive financial performance. Identify and pursue process/profitability improvements across the company Manage the company P to ensure we meet and achieve all of our performance targets and ensure leadership has visibility into risks and opportunities Provide thoughts on leadership and vision to the finance team in the development of business intelligence and financial planning tools and processes Act as a thoughtful leader by providing analytical insight and perspective to senior management. Proactively assess new business opportunities and their impact to the financial and business goals of the company Drive timeliness, accuracy, and compliance of financial reporting for both internal management purposes and corporate reporting Provide leadership to the FP team, constantly raising the bar of expectation and develop a world class organization, establish global best practices and instill a culture that emphasizes accountability, integrity and transparency Streamline and look for process efficiencies through-out the FP process What your background looks like 10+ years of financial analysis in Corporate Finance or related field BS/BA in accounting or finance, MBA, CPA, or relevant Master's Degree preferred CMA or CPA a plus Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Progressive experience in financial analysis, management reporting, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, pricing and project management Experience in vetting the financial aspects of new products, programs and services to an organization Highly motivated, self-starter who manages projects end to end and has a demonstrated track record of organizing and prioritizing deadlines and getting results Analytical thinker, flexible problem solver and team player with ability to multi-task Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the organization A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others Able to work in a matrixed environment and capable of resolving issues between functions with competing priorities Exceptional Financial modeling/ Excel skills Working knowledge of integrated accounting systems (Oracle) and Hyperion experience a plus Ability to be articulate and succinct in oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills Strong team player with a positive attitude Healthcare experience a plus Perks During this pandemic, all Experian employees are working remotely.
