Job DescriptionSenior DevOps Engineer - RemoteA Sr. DevOps Engineer is an information technology (IT) professional who works with software developers, security teams and other production IT staff within an Agile team to achieve desired business software development objectives. The role calls for someone who has the necessary hard and soft skills that are required to overcome the traditional barriers between software development, testing and operations teams. This cross functional role provides the ability needed to understand how to take desired business outcomes and provide solutions that achieve those outcomes.Duties and Responsibilities:Work within assigned Agile development teams to perform the following responsibilities:Requirements gathering to include business, infrastructure, application, security and operations aspectsEnterprise solutions architecting based on requirements gathered using established standards and industry best practicesAssists in the designing, scaling, and building of an automated approach across all stages of product developmentWork with development, testing, and documentation teams during the product development cycle to ensure quality controlDevelop Infrastructure as Code based on requirements of the approved solutionBuildout, modification and support for Infrastructure as Code build and release pipelinesBuildout, modification and support for application code release pipelinesUnderstand requirement of application monitoring to ensure reliability and performance meets or exceeds business goals and provides the needed feedback and learning for continuous improvementParticipation in Agile team standup meetingsIntegration with workflow tools as required by Agile teamCreate documentation as required by projectMaintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging cloud-based architectures, technologies and productsResponsible for learning and testing new cloud technologiesContinuously look for ways to improve existing processes through automation and cloud-based technologiesDesign build/release processes for applications in collaboration with Developers, Network Engineers and SecurityUnderstanding system specifications, standards, and converting them to automation processesUnderstanding of Security and Compliance requirements and applying them through automation and verificationAssist with the development, adoption and continual improvement of DevOps practices and processesKnowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:At least four years of experience working with cloud solutions in AWS and/or AzureUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologiesUnderstanding of DevOps philosophies, practices, and toolsUnderstanding of Azure and AWS SaaS, PaaS and IaaS servicesUnderstanding of how to take desired business outcomes and provide solutions that achieve those outcomesUnderstanding of ITILGood understanding of data center and cloud networkingExperience working with Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub, Git is highly desirableExperience working with containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes or similar tools is desirableExperience working with YAML based CI/CD pipelines, JenkinsExperience working with Data format and Scripting languages JSON, YAML, Python, Bash and PowerShellExperience working with Terraform, Azure ARM Templates, or AWS Cloud Formation TemplatesExcellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levelsAbility to develop complex technical solutions for business processesAbility to work on several projects at the same timeAbility to minimize user impact where possible and complete projects on time and correctly#LI-KG1#LI-Remote About UsRealogy Holdings Corp.(NYSE: RLGY) is the leading and most integrated provider of U.S. residential real estate services, encompassing franchise, brokerage, and title and settlement businesses as well as a mortgage joint venture.
