Description
Group O is looking for a creative, strategic, and culture-obsessed Sr. Designer to support our client’s Brand Social & Partnerships team. This role is for a creative powerhouse who doesn’t wait for a brief but actively brings ideas to the table—then executes flawlessly across video, photo and static content. You are familiar with both the entertainment and sports worlds.
For Brand Social, you’ll need to be equal parts creator and strategist—someone who understands social trends (and a brand’s role in them), internet culture, and platform behaviors and knows how to turn that inspiration into scroll-stopping, design-driven content for a brand.
On the Partnerships side, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to develop on-brand creative that aligns with business objectives. You should have a strong design sensibility, a portfolio showcasing work that blends creativity with performance-driven impact, and the ability to adapt brand aesthetics to different partnership opportunities.
This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced role that requires proactive creativity, strong design chops, and the ability to balance quick-turn content with high-production brand executions—all while maintaining strategic intent.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Concept, design, and execute compelling creative across the brand’s social and partnership teams.
- Bring trend-based storytelling to life with high-impact social content, including static graphics, animations, closed captioning, and branded templates.
- Develop co-branded content, sponsored activations, and creative assets that drive engagement and brand affinity.
- Support the development of branded toolkits, design systems, and templates used across internal teams and external agencies.
- Stay plugged into social trends and platform behaviors—bringing fresh ideas that push creative boundaries.
- Rapidly iterate on creative assets based on performance insights, testing, and feedback.
- Support light content creation and copywriting for social needs when necessary (yes, that includes memes and fun captions!).
- Maintain consistency in brand identity across all design touchpoints.
- Support ad hoc internal deck building needs.
- Support miscellaneous paid media and web design assets.
Job Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience designing for brand partnerships is a bonus—co-branded content, campaign assets, and sponsored activations.
- Experience designing across multiple formats, including print, digital, animation, video, toolkits, templates, and more.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A self-starter who thrives on concepting, executing, and iterating—you don’t wait for inspiration, you create it.
- A trend-savvy designer who lives on social media and understands what works (and what doesn’t) for brands.
- A strategic thinker who brings fresh, on-brand ideas to the table and sees them through to execution and versioning.
- A collaborative creative who works seamlessly across teams and can adapt to different brand aesthetics for partnerships.
- A multi-format designer with a deep understanding of visual storytelling, motion, typography, and design layout.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of social-first, brand-forward, and product-driven design work.
- Deep fluency in social media culture, platforms, and trends—you know the internet inside and out.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Media Encoder).
- Strategic mindset—you don’t just execute; you bring ideas with purpose.
- Organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced, always-changing environment.
- Strong communicator and collaborator—able to take feedback, refine work based on insights, and articulate creative decisions.
- Positive, proactive, and adaptable—you bring energy and ideas to every project.
