Purpose of the Role:
This role will be mainly remote but require flexibility to travel to client sites, and our offices based in London, Sheffield, and Bristol.
As a Senior Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the effective delivery of complex, sometimes high-risk products/projects and services. Representing the role of Delivery Manager within the business and working closely with all roles in a multidisciplinary team on client projects, driving the initiation, planning and implementation phases in line with client goals and strategic objectives.

RequirementsYou will be:
· Building and maintain delivery teams, ensuring they are motivated, collaborating and working well
· Able to remove blockers or impediments that affect plans and can develop a plan for difficult situations
· Managing complex internal and external dependencies.
· Providing support to the delivery management team in risk mitigation and resolution.
· Part of influencing positive changes to the organisation.
· Credible and influential across departments and groups companies
· Acting as the escalation point and resolve large or high-risk commercial management issues
Essential Skills and Experience:
· Experience in applying delivery methodologies in practice and can identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, and being able to adapt this to the clients’ needs
· Experience in managing complex data projects
· Experience in managing challenging client relationships
· Ability to lead teams in Agile and other delivery methodologies.
· Ability to take responsibility for relationships with contracted suppliers.
· Ability to remove blockers or impediments that affect plans and can develop a plan for difficult situations
· Knowledge of how to coach others in appropriate commercial engagement
· Managing complex internal and external dependencies.
· Knowledge of how to lead a continual planning process in a very complex environment.
· Ability to identify issues with current delivery processes.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
· Experience of working within the Defence sector
· Knowledge of tools, languages and methodologies used to deliver data-centric projects
· You know how to lead a team through the different phases of the delivery product life cycle.
· Promote best practice and continued development across the business
· Existing security clearance
This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance.
