Job Title: Senior Manager, Cost Accounting
Job Description
The Senior Manager of Cost Accounting serves as a key leader within the Global Accounting team, overseeing all accounting and reporting activities related to inventory, reserves, and transfer pricing across a global manufacturing network. Reporting to the Director of Global Accounting Operations, this role provides strategic and operational leadership, ensures compliance with US GAAP and statutory requirements, and drives process improvements and automation initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and contribute to the ongoing optimization of global cost and operations accounting.

Work Environment
This role operates within a global accounting organization and follows Eastern Time (EST) working hours while offering a remote work arrangement. The Senior Manager leads a core team of 4 to 5 professionals in the Global Cost Operations Accounting group and also manages an offshore team through an outsourced vendor based in Kolkata, India. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, requiring frequent interaction with functions such as FP&A, Supply Chain, Corporate Tax, Disbursements, Information Systems, Corporate External Reporting, and Audit. The position relies heavily on enterprise systems, particularly SAP and S/4 HANA, and utilizes Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for analysis, reporting, and presentations. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, process optimization, and the adoption of automation technologies, including Robotics Process Automation, to enhance efficiency and accuracy in cost and operations accounting.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $53.00 - $90.00/hr.
