Summary:

The Senior Corporate Recruiter helps us build an employer brand that attracts the best and brightest, a selection process that gets us the right person for the right role, and an overall recruiting experience for hiring managers and candidates that creates raving fans. Part brand ambassador, part thought leader, and part role model for attracting top talent to OneDigital, the Senior Recruiter is a trusted partner to hiring managers ensuring they have the people necessary to support our growth.

The Senior Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting of assigned regions and specializations, partnering as needed with outside recruiting partners, as well as leading process improvements in our Talent Acquisition function, establishing and exceeding key performance indicators for quantity, quality, speed, and cost.

This highly visible position requires cultivation of an in-depth network and candidate pipeline and the ability to develop strong business relationships within the industry, as well as with senior management. The role will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues in Human Resources, Talent Management, Learning and Development and Internal Communications to support the ever-evolving people-related needs of the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Client Management
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, as a trusted partner and valued advisor, building a deep understanding of their function, role requirements and desired candidate profiles
  • Participate in discussions with business leaders to understand hiring needs and drive recruitment strategy
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates and cross-functional partners in order to create a raving fan hiring experience, from recruiting through onboarding


Sourcing
  • Create comprehensive sourcing and recruitment strategies to hire top talent across a wide range of roles
  • Build talent pipelines to fill current and future roles and drive improvements in time to hire and quality
  • Build a strong brand awareness by proactively networking, cold calling, and creating a robust passive candidate network through various markets and channels
  • Provide thought-leadership to help us continue to strengthen our vibrant employer brand


Selection & Candidate Experience
  • Apply selection best practices to ensure a rigorous process that yields a high quality of hire
  • Support hiring manager coaching and behavioral interview training to enhance quality of hire
  • Act as an enthusiastic Brand Ambassador for OneDigital, effectively demonstrating our culture and the Digital Way through all touch-points and communications with potential OneDigital employees


Managing Partnerships
  • Manage relationships with outside strategic hiring partners and agencies


Recruiting Administration
  • Establish and exceed key performance indicators for individual and team performance
  • Work with department heads, functional business leaders and the Talent Management team to determine appropriate assessments, tests and tools to best qualify candidates prior to offer extension.
  • Work closely with HR and TM teams to facilitate smooth onboarding process


Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
  • Proven track record sourcing and hiring passive candidates from direct competitors
  • Expertise in multiple interview practices
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in diversity recruiting and eliminating bias from selection practices
  • Highly adept at the use of recruiting technologies
  • Effective communicator
  • Expert at building high-trust relationships
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated experience partnering and influencing senior hiring managers and executives throughout the recruiting cycle
  • Adaptable, able to pivot and quickly adjust to changing business needs and priorities
  • Analytical and metrics-oriented: Demonstrated ability to drive business and behavioral changes with data
  • Effective negotiator, able to bring parties to a consensus through mediation and counsel
  • Strategic thinker who brings resolution to any challenges and problems throughout the recruiting process
  • Strong understanding of the Employer Brand and able to convey culture through various communications
  • High degree of Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
  • Optimistic, able to overcome objections and deliver
  • Personal, takes the work seriously, but not yourself, makes authentic connections


Education, Training and Experience:
  • 7+ years full cycle recruiting experience
  • 3+ years in-house recruiting, required
  • 3+ years agency recruiting, beneficial
  • Experience leading strategic recruiting efforts
  • Prior experience in insurance or employer benefits industry, strongly preferred
  • Experience partnering with agency recruiters, preferred
  • Recruiting certifications, such as AIRS, strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree, required; preferably in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field
  • Experience with Workday ATS, preferred
