This position is responsible for developing and telling conceptually strong and flawlessly executed stories in a variety of formats and media based on brand and creative strategy. You will work in close collaboration with a variety of other team members, remaining dedicated to the quality of the final product at every step. This person will have a passion for digital advertising and an insatiable desire to learn and explore emerging trends. This individual may be based in any location.ResponsibilitiesWrite original copy and edit content for a wide range of projects, such as emails, websites, articles, banner ads, videos, signage and moreTranslate complicated product challenges into compelling, clear brand stories that are understandable, interesting and align to unique target audience perspectivesProduce clear, concise, grammatically correct and error-free copy that aligns with client brand positioning, voice and toneWrite with speed, consistency, accuracy and creative elegance while delivering multiple projects and ensuring quality is never compromisedRespond positively to feedback and redraft copy to address comments while retaining the impact of the copyWork on multiple projects simultaneously in a demanding, deadline-driven environmentEnforce and follow established client brand and style guide to ensure content aligns with brand positioning, voice and toneTake personal accountability for on-time deliverablesQualificationsMinimum of five years of experience in copywriting, journalism, content marketing or a related fieldBachelor's degree in communications, creative writing or journalism (or similar discipline) from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experienceDemonstrate a strong command of the structure of language, both formal and informalPossess a wide breadth of writing abilities from long form to headlines to calls to actionExperience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, G Suite and similar software applicationsExcellent spelling and grammar skills with minimal amends from proofreadingAbility to ask the right questions to get the information you need to effectively write compelling copyAbility to take/provide constructive and positive feedbackSolid communication and organizational skillsCollaborative mindset and the ability to work across a number of different teamsStrong grasp of marketing and advertising trendsA strong portfolio with a variety of samples (long and short form)ABOUT HLK HLK is a creative and technology agency focused on understanding and changing audience behavior through deeply integrated brand experiences.
