Job Description

WANTED: A mission-driven professional with an Secret clearance to join our team as a seasoned Senior Content and Marketing Specialist supporting information sharing programs.

As a seasoned Senior Content and Marketing Specialist, you will:

Join an already established team with opportunity to grow.
Support a Department of Homeland Security program, who collects, manages, and distributes critical infrastructure data to its stakeholders.
Support the customized SharePoint technology platform which is used as the backbone for managing and distributing this program's critical infrastructure data.

A week in the life of a seasoned Senior Content and Marketing Specialist:

Work closely with federal staff as well as program and technical subject-matter-experts to develop external communications that deliver value-to-client messaging about new technology solutions and updates to existing solutions.
Apply marketing and communications experience, principles, and best practices to assist in the development of strategic digital marketing campaigns that drive growth and engagement.
Write a variety of content including white papers, email distributions, fact sheets, web copy, training material, slide decks and quick reference guides.
Analyze communications and marketing campaign effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement.
Maximize digital touchpoints.
Serve as in-house graphic designer for small scale design needs.
Liaise, collaborate, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
Perform market analysis to identify content, user, and market trends.
Provide support for member access management processes.
Build awareness of the program via marketing and outreach efforts.
Support trainings on Adobe Connect.

If this position is performed from Colorado, pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $76,800-$128,300. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Pursuant to Colorado law, the actual compensation paid for this position may be outside of this range. Job Requirements
Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
Experience in market research.
Experience in content curation and development.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
Understand what constitutes "good" graphic design and ability to elicit design and content requirements from stakeholders.
Knowledge of industry trends in communications and the ability to effectively target communications to the stakeholder groups.
Ability to interpret complex content for general audiences.
Well-developed time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision when necessary.
Proactive problem-solving ability.
Commitment to being a collaborative, team player.


Preferred Familiar with SharePoint 2016 & Adobe Connect.
Experience developing marketing and/or communications products for the federal government or other public sector stakeholders.


BA/BS with 5 years minimum experience and/or MA/MS with 3 years minimum experience in journalism, communications, marketing, or another related field. Job Type Full-time, Contract.
