Job LocationUSA, Louisville, KYJob Posting TitleSenior Compensation Analyst - RemoteThe ChallengeThe successful candidate for this role will report to the Senior Director, Compensation & Benefits and partner with other key business stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, to design, develop, and maintain global compensation programs and practices for GE Appliances, a Haier Company. This includes the career/job structure, salary structures, and global processes for salary management.(Virtual/Remote Work Location Option): While there are advantages to our Louisville, KY headquarters, the work location may be flexible depending on the candidate. Relocation assistance is not provided.What you will DoLead company-wide compensation programs and processes for below-executive employees, including developing salary structures and rangesLead salary planning administration, including annual salary/merit planningPartner with Senior Director, Compensation & Benefits on designing and managing variable compensation programsForge relationships to understand the business needs and serve as a consultative partner with HR Business Partners and business leadersLead projects or initiatives related to market competitiveness, pay structures, career/job framework, pay equity, and/or pay transparencyMonitor the effectiveness of compensation programs and partner with HR and business leaders to design and execute on improvements/enhancementsLead process to attain and maintain compensation information completeness and accuracy within the Human Resources Information System (Workday)Conduct Manager and HR Business Partner training to ensure understanding of compensation philosophy and management processes and complianceWhat you need to SucceedBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Human Resources related field5+ years compensation experienceDemonstrated success and career progression in the compensation fieldKnowledge of laws and regulations governing compensation programsDemonstrated quantitative skills and the ability to draw meaningful insights from dataStrong PC skills including advanced Excel skillsProven ability to design deliver and manage sales, variable incentive compensation and other incentive plansHighly developed interpersonal skills to facilitate working relationships with business partnersHighly organized and self-driven with an ability to meet multiple deadlinesKnowledge of regulatory requirements on the impact on compensationSignificant HR practices and applicable regulatory knowledgeDesired CharacteristicsMaster's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or other HR areaCertified Compensation Professional (CCP)Workday experienceAble to effectively communicate with and influence all levels of the organization and drive changeDemonstrated successful experience in working in a high performance work environment and team-oriented cultureExtensive experience with managing progressive compensation issues in large corporate organizations#LI - Remote#RemoteGE Appliances is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
