We are on a mission to revolutionize solar energy access for apartment residents and property owners through our Virtual Grid platform, the cornerstone of our innovative product suite. As we scale our sales team, we're looking for passionate individuals ready to contribute to our growth and impact. While we are a remote-friendly organization, we also cherish our vibrant office culture in the heart of downtown San Diego. This role will be reporting to the SVP of Sales and helping to shape the future of solar energy.

Contribute towards Business Development and Lead Generation strategy

  • Generating new prospect leads from target lists
  • Qualify & brief new account leads according to the qualification & briefing process outlined by Ivy
  • Manage new prospect outreach & communication
  • Carry out targeted outreach strategies to qualified leads to help fill the account sales funnel.

Account Sales

  • Build and maintain relationships within Real Estate Developer/ Asset Owner Accounts, identifying key stakeholders for regular engagement
  • Carry out qualifying, discovery, and closing tasks.
  • Take company-provided leads and personally generate account leads from introduction to close.
  • Meet and exceed company-provided sales quota 
  • Educate customers on industry insights and our capabilities using consultative selling techniques.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to accelerate business wins and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop pursuit plans to improve sales pipeline quality, expedite deal closure, and enhance the buying experience.

Channel Partner Support

  • Support assigned channel partners with proposal generation and co-selling activities.
  • Help develop and further Channel Partner relationships with Head of Partnerships to expand Ivy’s growth in the market

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years experience in a B2B sales and/or commercial real estate transactions and/or solar energy
  • Proven track record of signing new business and expanding established accounts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly on their own.
  • Extremely diligent and detail-focused.
  • Adds value to meetings and collaborative projects.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely.
  • Excellent communication and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Figma, Notion, and Slack.
  • Must live within one hour of Manhattan (NY Metro)

Base compensation is $110,000-130,000.

Compensation is commensurate with various factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, training, licensure, certifications, geographic cost of labor, and other business and organizational needs.
