Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate current and proposed insurance contracts of our large-market clients for the purpose of determining the overall competitiveness and viability of client's benefit package.
  • Develop RFPs, marketing presentations, network disruption reporting, and alternate-funded financial strategies based on carrier insurance proposals.
  • Work closely with internal sales team to ensure partners' sales activity supports strategic goals.
  • Maintain accurate records in client-management software.

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:
  • Be intuitive, smart, growth-minded, and take initiative.
  • Achieve high levels of productivity while working remotely.
  • Possess industry fluency - know insurance! Feature minimum of five years of experience working for a group health/life insurance carrier or group health/life insurance broker in large-market/experience-rated space. Underwriting experience preferred, but not required.
  • Have history working with experience-rated/underwritten cases and alternate funded arrangements.
  • Be technically savvy: Excel knowledge is required.
  • Claim attention to detail and organization as superpowers!
  • Demonstrate well-developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate professionally at all levels.
  • Apply critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of contracts.
  • Manage multiple projects at once while meeting client's deadlines.
  • Thrive in a very fast-paced environment
