About the job
  
Goods & Services is looking for a Senior Azure Cloud & IoT Solutions Architect to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of a large-scale cloud-connected IoT platform supporting thousands of distributed devices. This role requires expertise in Microsoft Azure, IoT architectures, infrastructure-as-code, containerized workloads, and CI/CD automation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions while providing technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.

What you’ll do:

• Design and implement scalable Azure-based solutions supporting large fleets of connected IoT devices.
• Define Cloud Architecture standards, deployment patterns, and operational best practices.
• Design secure service-to-service and device-to-cloud Azure Cloud resource solutions.
• Review Cloud Architecture proposals and implement Cloud resource solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure deployments.
• Design and support Docker-based application builds for on-prem kiosks as well as the development team
• Design and support Docker-based deployment, versioning, and release strategies.
• Support containerized workloads operating in edge environments
• Design and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, maintain, and implement versioning strategies. 
• Implement automated build, test, deployment and release processes.
• Work with Security to establish secure authentication, authorization, and secret management strategies

What you’ll need:

• 5+ Years of experience designing and delivering cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and architecture patterns.
• Experience with Cloud Networking
• Experience with Terraform IaC development.
• Docker experience (build, push, hypervisor knowledge)
• Windows and Linux (basic) knowledge
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Git/AzureRepos.
• Azure IoT Hub
• A curious and collaborative personality.
