Senior Associate - Technical Analyst

As a Senior Associate Technical Analyst at RSI, your work involves acting as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring technical solutions.

Internally, this role is titled Technical Analyst, Sr. Associate.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Develops server applications using various programming languages. Apart from programming language skills, back-end development is required to achieve product functionalities and meet business needs
• Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives from a technical perspective
• Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology
  Researching business requirements and documenting the relationships between the components of the application system (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices)
• Translating business requirements into technical artifacts

• BS in Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of experience with Relational Databases, Data Structures, and standard development techniques (RUP, OOD, SDLC)
• 2+ years of SQL skills
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to quickly grasp and understand both business and technical concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people including management, subject matter experts, developers, and testers
• Customer-focused attitude and desire to interface directly with end-user clients

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with FICO Blaze
• Experience working with a Decision Management Platform
• Experience working with a business rules engine

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

RSI determines pay range based upon numerous compensation factors, including experience, skill set, and geographic location. A current and reasonable estimated range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. However, it’s possible for an individual to be hired at a salary outside of this range.
