Pay Range: $83,500 - $179,100 Bonus Potential: 15% Requisition #: 70777 The Role at a Glance: This is a project-based role spanning multiple product lines in the annuity financial projections team at Lincoln. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ALM research and analysis, inforce dashboard development, actuarial projection analytics, free cash flow analysis, and process transformation/automation. The candidate is expected to understand how the assets and liabilities are changing over time for Lincoln's annuity business and uncover key business insight for management. The candidate is also expected to act as a leader on the team and enable other members to become more efficient in both processing and reviewing the financial results. The position will provide a great opportunity to gain in-depth exposure to all things related to asset/liability modeling and projections, such as Statutory/tax accounting, reserves, capital, investments, asset-liability interactions, and management actions. This position also provides learning opportunities in MG-ALFA, Dataiku, Tableau and other software essential to our processes. This is a great opportunity to learn about and add value to Lincoln's business as well as build solid foundational skills that are transferrable to future projects and opportunities. What you'll be doing: + ALM research and monitoring: understand Lincoln's inforce business and ALM strategy. Develop and maintain a dashboard to better understand and demonstrate the organization's ALM position in a timely manner. + Projection analysis: review various models and financial projections throughout the year, including Asset/Liability Management, Distributable Earnings and Free Cash Flow analysis, and Reserve and Asset Adequacy Analysis. Understand and communicate drivers of change timely and concisely. + Quality improvements: improve models and modeling processes, streamlining processes using next generation tools to increase efficiency and gain deeper insight into results. + Relationship Building: deliver informative analysis and results from the actuarial models by partnering and collaborating with other functional areas across the company including FP&A, Market Risk Management, Pricing, Enterprise Risk Management, Investments and Corporate Actuarial. + Research: maintain and expand knowledge of annuity regulations, business trends and best practices. Stay current on potential regulation changes within the industry.
