Overview This position is remote eligible to candidates located in the United States with the exclusion of the states: Washington, Ohio, Wyoming, and North Dakota. Summary:The Senior Application System Analyst formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on user needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. The Senior Application System Analyst prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary. Ability to collaborate and consult on the development of business requirement documentation Ability to communicate well with non-technical staff, business partners and vendors Interest in learning new technology solutions and development tools In addition, we would prefer a candidate with experience in these areas: Experience developing Java applications Experience developing Interface/Integration applications and API's Experience with writing technical documentation Experience with PL-SQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL Types of projects you will work on including developing Information technology solutions for the supported area for: Developing interface/integration solutions for our care management system Data analysis project for interface/integration projects Stored procedure development projects Interface/Integration conversion projects Other information:Bachelor s degree in related technical/business area plus 4 years of IT or business experience. 6 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree Responsibilities Responsibilities:Provides advanced support for definition/refinement of business requirements and for quality assurance/acceptance testing effortsDesigns, develops, tests and debugs software components of moderate to high complexityProvides implementation, production and upgrade support for software components of moderate to high complexityMay act as supporting liaison between the application team and the user community, responsible for facilitating communications, coordinating system enhancements, and providing production support.Works with user community to define business requirements in sufficient detail and define business use cases that systems configuration, development/enhancement, and/or Operations activities can be pursued.
