What You Will Do:
Identify audio opportunities in the project and work collaboratively to realize the audio vision
Design, create, and integrate immersive ambient soundscapes (environmental, city, weather) in Wwise and UE5, ensuring seamless alignment with gameplay and narrative.
Develop adaptive audio systems that dynamically respond to player actions and environmental changes
Lead and mentor a remote audio personnel, fostering creativity while maintaining high standards through feedback and structured workflows
Collaborate closely with art, design, and narrative teams using async tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Confluence) to align audio with visual/thematic goals, accommodating time zone differences.
Own end-to-end delivery of audio assets and systems, managing timelines and remote resource allocation to meet project milestones.
Manage and maintain clear documentation for audio pipelines, functions, and assets
Playtest regularly, seeking and providing audio feedback to ensure the final quality, while troubleshooting technical/design challenges
What We Are Looking For:
5+ years in game audio design
Expertise in DAWs (Pro Tools, Reaper), middleware (Wwise/FMOD), and remote collaboration tools
Passionate about elevating products through sound
Strong understanding of adaptive audio design and remote team dynamics.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the entire video game development process
