What the Senior Accountant will do
- The Senior Accountant will prepare all financials for assigned entities
- Responsible for all month end processes including general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and producing financials
- Present accurate financials with full variance analysis to management
- Inventory cost accounting
- Account reconciliation
- Ensure company accounting procedures conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- The Senior Accountant will perform monthly budgeting/forecasting
- Present budgets vs actuals with full variance/trends analysis for management
- Assist others with other duties as needed
What the company needs in a Senior Accountant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- 5+ years Accounting experience
- High degree of problem solving ability and critical thinking
- Inventory and costing exposure required
- ERP system experience (SAP preferred)
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Background within the manufacturing/construction industry preferred
