ManTech is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team in Herndon, VA supporting one of ManTech's largest programs.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Maintain all leases and ensure proper lease accounting in accordance with ASC 842
  • Prepare lease disclosures in quarterly financial statements
  • Prepare revenue recognition checklist for all revenue contracts in accordance with ASC 606
  • Stay up-to-date on all accounting guidance and determine how it is applicable ManTech
  • Prepare policies and procedures for new accounting guidance
  • Determine best practices for coordinating, gathering, and distributing relevant information among departments
  • Perform Ad-hoc tasks for various accounting functions as needed

Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience (Big 4 firm preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • CPA
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
  • Government Contractor industry experience a plus
  • LeaseQuery software experience a plus

Security Clearance:
  • Must be able to obtain and uphold a clearance

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

The projected compensation range for this position is $71,500-$118,800. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it's employees beyond just compensation.
