Senior Accountant Financial Reporting - Remote

What You'll be Doing
You'll create amazing experiences as you work with the accounting team and financial leaders across the globe. Excited to take on the daily challenges in a large international corporate environment, you'll be an important part of our financial reporting team as you support both domestic and international operations.

You'll report to the Principal of Technical Accounting. You will be a key part of our monthly and quarterly close process and our quarterly external reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The role is highly visible, interacting frequently with leaders in the organization as you address complex accounting matters.

During a Typical Day, You'll

• Lead the monthly accounting close and quarterly reporting processes for certain complex accounting areas, such as goodwill, stock-based compensation, impairments, and other technical accounting processes
• Support the M&A process including validation of information related to purchased financials and determination of purchase price accounting
• Help prepare consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and audit requests for our annual audit and quarterly reviews
• Stay up to date with SOX requirements as you maintain compliance with important controls associated with the monthly close and financial reporting processes
• Assist and coordinate the audits of statutory financial statements in countries outside the US, which includes preparing the financial statements
• Assist the general ledger team when needed (may include special projects)
• Participate and provide input in process improvement projects

What You Bring to the Role

• 3 years of accounting experience and BA/BS in Accounting
• Experience with the preparation of financial statements and external financial reporting
• Active CPA or CPA candidate
• Background in public accounting, industry or both
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and MS Suite
• Experience working with Hyperion and Oracle ERP

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
