Job Description

Senior Account Executive - remote to start

Our client, an independent, full service integrated marketing agency with local, regional and national brands is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join its Brand Development team. The ideal candidate will serve as the client contact on assigned brands/projects, ensuring client approvals are secured, client objectives are achieved, and timelines and budgets are met. They will communicate externally with the client and internally with the project team to keep all apprised of project status, updates and changes, as well as mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Collaborate with client, account lead (director/supervisor), strategy and creative to develop creative briefs that solve for client's marketing challenge
  • Lead internal and client meetings, presentations and calls; prepare relevant documents, including agendas, presentation decks and follow up communications, etc.
  • Keep agency team informed of client requests and changes; anticipate potential problems and potential implications; proactively develop and execute solutions
  • Manage project scope and budget; notify manager of client requests that fall outside of scope; alert client of financial and timing implications; secure client approval to proceed; and revise budgets as needed
  • Monitor status of work-in-progress and client budgets; lead internal status meetings with finance and project management; review estimates/billing and approve invoices

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years of advertising or marketing experience, preferably some experience in an agency setting
  • Able to communicate clearly, thoroughly, succinctly and in a timely manner both verbally and in writing; follow up on outstanding issues; ask relevant questions
  • Able to build relationships and collaborate across teams, departments, vendors and clients to successfully accomplish work
  • Actively and effectively managing timelines, budgets and deliverables of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analyzes results, interpret data, draw sound conclusions, and develop insightful and actionable recommendations
