Job Description

Are you an experienced sales representative with a background selling payment, credit card, fraud, or risk mitigation solutions? Do you have experience selling software solutions in to government or insurance verticals? Are you looking for a remote work from home sales position? Then this sales role may be for you!

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be an individual contributor on a team of 12 other Sales Executives. This team is organized in to three sales groups, each with a specific industry focus. We are searching for someone to join the government and insurance group. Your role will include heavy prospecting to bring in new business. The best fit for this role is an experienced sales hunter.

Roles
• Sales hunting role - heavy prospecting for new clients
• Develop new business, both with and without the use of lead-generation platforms
• Create and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients, prospective clients, lead groups and other sources to increase customer awareness and generate new, repeat and referral business.
• Develop a thorough understanding of client and prospective client businesses and industries
• Negotiate and influence to build consensus about products across all levels of a client's organization
• Create and present compelling value propositions that are aligned with client needs to sell new products and services
• Prospect and establish a pipeline of new opportunities while closing existing ones
• Collect data and leverage information provided by business development sources to anticipate client needs and determine product fit
• Conduct dynamic presentations and product demonstrations at various points in the sales cycle, ensuring thorough orientation to the product both before and after the sale
• Use Salesforce to manage and maintain accurate forecasts on an ongoing basis
• Collaborate internally with key stakeholders to drive deals
• Participate and coordinate with integration and implementation teams
• Leverage events, whitepapers, webinars, industry concerns/issues and other strategic items/initiatives to drive new sales

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
• 5-7 years' business development experience with experience in the financial technology industry
• Experience selling payment, credit card, identity verification, risk, or fraud solutions
• Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation and networking skills
• Must have experience cold calling (phone) and email/LinkedIn prospecting
• Incentive-driven sales "hunter"

• Track record of successful consultative sales
• Experience initiating and building relationships with executive-level management
• Self-motivated and driven go-getter with the ability to work independently
• Must be able to successfully integrate financial scenarios into clients' business process
• Strong problem-solving skills and high-level needs-diagnosis skills
• Capability to influence others and get results
• Successful experience in a performance-based compensation model
