Job Requisition ID #21WD45453Autodesk Security is seeking a Solutions Architect to help design, review, and build critical internal security solutions at scale. This is a technical, influential role that will appeal to a candidate with a bias to action and an affinity for learning new technologies. The ideal candidate has recently built solutions within Azure and understands the need to build these solutions securely. The candidate may not have previously worked on a security team but they have the desire to get outside of their comfort zone and learn the domain. This candidate will be joining a team of active community participants - speakers at AppSec California, AWS re:Invent, and DevSecCon. Similar community participation from the candidate is encouraged.Our team of security experts helps Autodesk design, build, deploy and maintain secure products. We are embedding security in the full spectrum of how we build our products from inception, design, development, testing to how we are running them in the cloud as well as how we are responding to any existing or emerging threats to our products or the building blocks of our products and services. Our job is to be one step ahead of our adversaries and use expertise, technology, and other resources to thwart their efforts to compromise our products and the environment in which they operate. Our team keeps a single-minded focus on protecting our customer's data and their investment in our products by strengthening our applications, underlying services, and network.ResponsibilitiesProvide secure-design guidance to Azure projects within AutodeskPartner with other architects to share knowledge of the Azure ecosystemIdentify and provide detailed security and configuration requirements to cloud, application, and enterprise teamsPerform security architecture assessments, create and drive security standards, and develop operations lifecycle requirements and design capabilities to hold teams accountable to reducing risk in their service offerings to maximize trust with Autodesk customersPerform architecture/design reviews for application, infrastructure, and network designsResearch emerging technologies and maintain awareness of current security risks in support of security enhancement and development effortsPerform POCs and evaluations of these technologies and methods, deliver reference implementations, and plan deployment and operation at scale across AutodeskAct as a Security SME/Consultant for projects and inquiries from product, development, and IT teamsMinimum Qualifications8+ years' experience designing and building software-based solutions2+ years' Azure experienceFamiliarity with SOA principles, CI/CD, and Microservice/Container orchestration and architectureAt least one of the following certifications, or a commitment to achieve such a certification as part of the role: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CCSP Preferred QualificationsExperience with at least 3 of the following domains: Security Architecture, Product Development, Research and Development, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Network Security, Incident Handling, Vulnerability Management, Encryption, DevOps, CI/CDAdvanced interpersonal skills to effectively promote ideas and collaboration at the various levels of the organizationExperience designing, building and operating security solutions in enterprise or service provider cloud environmentsExcellent analytical skills, organizational skills, ingenuity, and the ability to work as part of a teamDemonstrated ability to work on multiple projects in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environmentProven ability to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical audience; ability to work effectively as part of remediation teamsAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
