Description: PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to join our dynamic team. As a SOC Manager, you will lead and manage Security operations center, ensuring the effective monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents.  


Required Clearance: Secret w/ability to obtain TS.


Required Education: Bachelor’ s Degree in relevant field.


Required Experience: Eight+ (8+) years of relevant experience.


Responsibilities:


•Provide strategic leadership and direction to the SOC team.

•Oversee the daily operations of the SOC, ensuring the security of the MEDCHART system.

•Advise the Government on the security posture of the MEDCHART system.

•Collaborate with Government stakeholders to implement security improvements.

•Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures for the MEDCHART system.

•Lead the response to security incidents, coordinating with internal teams and Government representatives.

•Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats relevant to the MEDCHART system.


Requirements:

•Develop, update, and enforce security policies and procedures specifically tailored for the MEDCHART system.

•Ensure compliance with Government regulations and standards.

•Recruit, train, and manage SOC personnel dedicated to the security of the IT system.

•Promote cybersecurity awareness among employees working on the MEDCHART system.

•Collaborate with Government representatives and MEDCHART system stakeholders to enhance overall security posture.

•Work closely with incident response teams and Government agencies during investigations.

•Identify areas for improvement in SOC processes and technologies related to the MEDCHART system.


Preferred Qualifications: CISSP, or CISM


Certifications: 


•Security+

•HIPPA
