Job Description

Role Overview is seeking a full-time Security Guard responsible for providing superior physical security services in addition to emergency response planning for our and McLean office(s). The Security Guard will display exceptional customer service and communication skills. This position is a physical security role in which security guards are required to observe and report as they patrol the premises and monitor camera feeds.


  • Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized entry, protect property, and perform entry controller duties
  • Monitor and secure all entry control points, ensuring each person is validated upon entry
  • Exercise judgment and use discretion in dealing with emergencies and security violations encountered
  • Receive specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting security areas
  • Control access to building and grounds allowing access under company policy
  • Protect personnel and property in a professional manner
  • Provide first aid, CPR and assist during emergencies as necessary
  • Be fully familiar with building layout, floor plans, manual fire alarm locations, fire extinguisher locations, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) locations, emergency routes, and evacuation assembly points
  • Remain on post until properly relieved and pass all information relevant to the post to the relieving Security Officer
  • Perform activities in exterior and interior work environments, sometimes in inclement weather
  • Perform other duties as assigned and shift flexibility as needed


  • 1 year in a security position
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A valid US Driver's License
  • Fluently read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to perform shift work
  • Basic first aid skills 
  • Qualification/certification as a security guard or military Covid Vaccination Requirement has a mandatory vaccination requirement where not prohibited by applicable federal or state law.

Accommodations will be granted where they do not cause undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.
