The Opportunity

The app features a tool to track and record your sleep, over 100 ambient sounds, relaxing music, guided meditations and sleep stories, available in over six different languages! Our mission is to help people change their lives with a better night's sleep. 

What are we looking for?

BetterSleep is looking for a talented contractor composer and saxophone or clarinet performer with a specialty in jazz composition. In this role, you will be in charge of the composition, performance, and recording of original jazz music. The music should be soft and relaxed, something to listen to while winding down for the night.

Responsibilities

  • Instrumental composition and arrangement.
  • Performance on saxophone or clarinet.
  • High quality recording of the music (delivery of audio in .wav file at 24bit/48kHz).
  • Edit and revise music and recording based on feedback.

Requirements

  • Experience in composition and arrangement of jazz music.
  • Expertise in saxophone or clarinet performance.
  • Expertise in instrumental recording.
  • Familiarity with a DAW.
  • Flexibility, creativity, and a proven ability to meet deadlines.



Starting at $400 USD per track, based on experience, expertise, and the scope of the project.
