We are looking to add a Salesforce Platform Engineer for a 100% Remote role within our Marketing Technology organization. Lincoln's IT organization is adding a Marketing Automation Platform Engineer to serve as the IT platform owner of our Marketing Automation ecosystem. In this role, you will work closely with our Business, IT and external partners to insure the best solutions are in place and ready to support strategic marketing campaigns.
What you'll be doing:
+ Develop strategic custom and declarative solutions within the Marketing automation ecosystem, including the integration to key sales, marketing, and other enterprise platforms
+ Maintain strong working knowledge of the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Oracle Eloqua features and releases, and continually improve learning through Trailhead modules or certification.
+ Ensure platforms conform to IT Security requirements and guidelines including CAN-SPAM compliance, and updated as needed
+ Serve as subject matter expert in platform capabilities, including marketing automation and email best practices
+ Ensure availability and operational readiness of strategic Marketing Automation platforms and integrations, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Oracle Eloqua, and other strategic platforms as needed,
+ Serve as point of escalation for technical support teams should issues that arise during implementation or steady state operations
+ Develop operational dashboards and reports to keep senior management informed of system status and operational KPIs and trends
+ As a member of an Agile team, work closely with business partners and IT leaders on maintaining and execution of project backlog, in a fast paced, iterative, deadline driven environment
+ Keep business partners informed and engaged on platforms enhancements, new capabilities, and emerging best practices through collaborative meetings and expanding a community of practice partnership.
+ Collaborate with other IT teams supporting design, development, testing, and support custom functionality and integrations, leveraging the declarative and programmatic capabilities of the Salesforce and Eloqua Platforms.
+ Handle changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and work within tight timeframes and deadlines.
+ Participate and engage in Agile methods and best practices.
+ Analyze and understand abstract use cases or business requirements, with the ability to transform them into technical deliverables
What we're looking for:
+ 3-5+ Years of experience in Marketing Platform management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of this position.
+ 3-4 yrs., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and associated components, from implementation to run state support, Marketing Cloud configuration and platform management
+ SQL experience required
+ Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology or related) and/or equivalent related work experience.
+ Experience working with ESPs
+ Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of relevant systems, and other marketing automation platforms within a larger Marketing Automation ecosystem
+ Solid technical skills and expertise with HTML, CSS
+ Familiarity with common Integration tools and technologies such as APIs, ETL, SFTP, Informatica and MuleSoft
+ Familiarity with use of marketing data, and data concepts and data security
+ Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation
+ Must thrive in a fast paced, iterative, deadline driven environment
+ Solid knowledge of email best practices and CAN-SPAM compliance
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud knowledge a plus
+ Familiarity with Agile project execution, Kanban and Scrum
+ Familiarity working with Data, Data Modeling concepts
+ Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certifications
+ Oracle Eloqua Certifications
+ Experience within the Financial Service industry
