Job Description

We have a unique opportunity for someone to contribute their talents and strengths as a Sales Support Specialist.
Location: US - Remote
Effective January 10th, 2022, all new employees of Computershare, who report to an office regularly or intermittently, are required to comply with our standard OSHA-mandated COVID-19 vaccination-or-testing policy, as soon as practical and as a condition of employment. Employees will be considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving both doses of a qualifying two-dose vaccine or one dose of a qualifying single-dose vaccine. Boosters are not required at this time. Face coverings will be required when in an office per the Computershare COVID-19 Vaccination-or-Testing Policy for US Employees.

A Role You Will Love
The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of high-quality support to the CRO and its direct reports. This includes but not limited to market data, analysis and recommendation, organizing key customer meetings and on-site meetings, driving and leading industry conference strategies and its execution as well as ensuring that the day-to-day resolution of queries are responded to accurately and with agreed timeframes.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Drive and be the onsite lead for industry conferences and execute the conference sales plan defined by the CRO.
  • Find and analyze market data, driving new sales opportunities and recommendations for each LOB.
  • Research and be the expert on our competitors helping sales know their strengths and weaknesses that need to be sold into.
  • Working with our Shared Services Team, this person will organize key customer meetings and on sites sessions.
  • Ensure day to day resolution, of new inquiries, are responded to accurately and within agreed timeframes.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
What Will You Bring to The Role?
The Sales Support Specialist requires a good understanding of the mortgage banking landscape. Ideally this person has worked in or has pertinent working knowledge of Servicing and Fulfillment outsourcing. Ideally this person will have at least 3 years mortgage banking or Mortgage Vendor experience. Knowledge for the role will be acquired through on the job training and experience.
Other education and key skills required for the role include :
  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years of customer support experience required
  • Required to gain a good understanding of how the wider CLS team works together to successful achieve the CLS team goals and objectives.
  • Requires some basic understanding of external competitor products and services to support continuous improvement and project related activities.
  • Requires attention to detail and some judgment based on best practice and previous experience.
  • Expected to respond to and resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience, which will be guided by clear policy and procedure.
  • Required to coordinate and self-manage assignments ensuring that quality standards and time constraints are continuously delivered to a high standard.
  • Requires developed communication skills to be able to provide clear verbal and/or written communications in response to assignments.
  • Assignments received will range from basic to medium in complexity.
  • The role holder may also require tact and diplomacy when dealing with challenging clients, complaints, or sensitive issues.
  • Where supporting continuous improvement or project related activity the role holder will need to communicate across teams clearly and effectively throughout Computershare.
  • Excellence in the use of Excel
  • Some travel is required.
  • Project management skills are very important.
