Job Description

Overview:
Fairview Specialty Pharmacy has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Development Manager. This position engages with local/regional specialty clinics and providers as well as local representatives of pharmaceutical companies, health systems or other organizations to develop and foster ongoing relationships, establish strategic partnerships and maximize business growth.

This position is 100% remote and offers a competitive wage and benefit package.

Responsibilities/Job Description:
In this role you will,

Promote the services of Fairview Specialty Pharmacy (FSP) to local and regional specialty clinics and health systems in order to increase prescription volume goals utilizing sales tools and resources provided by FSP.

Responsible for sales activities directly to the customer. Activities include: Face-to-face and remote sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.

Business development activities, including the development of alliance/channel/network partnerships. Pricing research and strategy.

Meet with commercial and government payers in regional markets to position FPS as the preferred specialty pharmacy provider for their members. Build solid relationships with specialty pharmaceutical manufacturers' local representatives to better understand their goal drivers and objectives.

Engage regional health systems leaders to promote and gauge general applicability of FSP becoming their contract pharmacy of choice by developing an in-depth understanding of their operations, payer landscape and therapeutic area expertise/emphases.

Build solid relationships with specialty pharmaceutical manufacturers' local representatives to better understand their goal drivers and objectives.

Be responsible for the strategic implementation, management and reporting of an annual service/sales plan based on identified service lines, markets, initiatives and projects

Work independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have five plus years of sales experience in clinics, hospitals, provider offers or similar settings with a proven track record of success through business growth, effective business planning and impactful relationships.

A Bachelor's degree in health care or related field is required.
