Job Description

A sales compensation analyst at ClickUp is responsible for analyzing, implementing, and executing sales compensation plans. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the success of our sales team by accurately and effectively measuring performance and incentivizing results.

Typical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, or a related field
  • 1 to 3 years of proven experience as a compensation analyst or similar role
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools, experience with CaptivateIQ is a plus
  • Familiarity with sales compensation best practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Process accurate variable pay calculations for sales and ecosystem roles on a monthly basis
  • Develop and maintain documentation of compensation plan structures and policies
  • Conduct thorough analyses of sales performance data and provide insightful recommendations
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes related to sales compensation
  • Support sales operations team in resolving compensation-related inquiries and issues
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements regarding sales compensation
  • Continuously evaluate and suggest enhancements to existing compensation processes and systems
  • Provide training and guidance to sales representatives on compensation plan details and calculations
