Job Description

Sage X3 ERP Support Specialist, Remote, £30-40k

SearchDATA Group is currently looking for a Sage X3 ERP support specialist to join a growing logistics and distribution business. The office is based in Epsom; however, the role is fully remote with the option to go in should you wish.

What we're offering:

Purpose:

To provide ERP support to end users and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve issues with ERP systems
  • Provide training and support to end users
  • Log calls in the company's tracking system and provide updates to users
  • Import, export, and update data in ERP systems
  • Amend user profiles, security, and access rights
  • Test and implement system changes including reports, requestors, and screen changes
  • Update documentation of business processes and user guides.
  • Escalate issues to consultants and third-party support
  • Provide support to ERP projects

  • Deliver tasks on time
  • Meet agreed quality standards
  • Understand and follow the IT strategy
  • Maintain project and service tracking systems
  • Create and maintain appropriate documentation
  • Follow department policies and procedures
  • Share of knowledge with colleagues and stakeholders

Skills and Competences:

  • Strong technical knowledge of ERP systems (Sage X3)
    • Finance
    • Distribution (sales, purchase order and works order processing)
    • Data import/export and integration with third-party systems
    • Batch jobs and tasks
  • Strong technical knowledge of database systems (SQL)
    • SQL queries and updates
  • Working knowledge of an industry standard IT Service Management tool

Additional desirable skills and experience:

  • Knowledge of ERP bolt-on systems
    • Crystal reports
    • V1 EDD/EDM
    • Draycir Spindle

Other requirements:

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
  • Good communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts and information to both technical and non-technical people across all levels
  • Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with fellow team members, stakeholders, and suppliers
