Job Description

Robotic Process Automation Architect (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Quincy, MA): The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Architect will be responsible for creating PDD, SDD, and actual design of the software robot. The RPA Architect will take into account completeness of scenarios, business rules, financial and regulatory compliance considerations, and will have the capacity to utilize robots, as well as the underlying applications and all aspects of robotic design. Specific duties of the position include: responsible for development, testing, and implementation of RPA Bots that will interact with multiple applications; identifying opportunities for improvement in existing process and automate the process using RPA software; fine tuning performance and operation issues that arise with RPA Bots; providing on-going operational support including upgrades, defect fixes, and any Process change activities; functioning as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients' business needs; defining system strategies, developing system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation; developing and documenting configuration best practices and contribute to team training and professional development efforts; and maintaining a current and thorough understanding of Robotic Process Automation products and services.

Minimum requirements are: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related technical field plus 2 years of directly relevant experience. Alternate requirements are: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or related technical field plus 5 years of directly relevant experience.

Must have: Total experience above must include the following (can be gained concurrently): 2 years of automation or AI experience in financial services or financial technology industry; and 2 years of experience with RPA bot development using one of the following RPA platforms: Work Fusion, Automation Anywhere, BluePrism, UIPath. Must also have the following: demonstrated experience with RDMS technologies, including database design and SQL scripting; demonstrated experience in business process modeling, notations, and tools such as Camunda, Aris, jBPM; demonstrated experience with full life cycle Analytics or Systems integration engagement across strategy, design and implementation; proven experience with Data Analytics, Cognitive/AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP); demonstrated experience performing pilots and proof-of-concepts for RPA tools to be used in business sectors; proven ability to design and validate future state processes that are compatible with future robotics solutions; and demonstrated experience with C# scripting, RPA methodologies, VB.Net, COBOL, JCL, and Soap UI. Unless otherwise indicated, State Street is seeking the demonstrated ability in the skills listed above with no specific number of years of experience required. All experience can be gained concurrently.
