Title: RCM Account Manager


About the role:

JorieAI is looking for a remote full-time RCM Account Manager with 5 years medical billing revenue cycle management experience. They are professional, articulate and can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possess a strategic focus as well as operational, implementation and detail-oriented perspective. The ideal candidate has a strong ability to collaborate with individual contributors to define process issues, analyze operational efficiencies, implement creative solutions, and measure delivery results. They have a vast knowledge regarding Revenue Cycle processes and can operate efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.  The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of revenue cycle regulations and knowledge of revenue cycle policy development. 


 Location & Hours:

  • This is a remote position within the USA only
  • Hours 8:00-5:00CST- Monday through Friday

 Responsibilities:

·       Ensure SOW is available and all amendments are available

·       Identify any SLAs or TATs included in Contract

·       Scope of Services in the SOW including any amendments

·       Scope of Services being provided and identification of any services included in the SOW that we are not providing (work with Client to get these services added to Jorie scope or identified as permanently excluded (determine if amendment to SOW should be initiated), and any services that are not in the SOW but that are being completed (determine if amendment should be initiated)

·       For each function identify if it is automated and % of work being completed manually.  Identify if additional automation is planned and timeline for completion.  Work with Onboarding and RPA Development Team to facilitate completion of all outstanding automation

·       Identify any SLAs or TATs that have been agreed to that are not in the Contract and document those on the RCM OPS Client Information

·       Assist with obtaining SOW changes that would affect Invoicing and collaborate with the  RCM Operations communications with Client RCM Ops Team to obtain necessary reports that are needed for Invoice preparation

·       Issue Resolution (collaborate with RCM Ops Leaders and create responses to inquiries and concerns from Client)

·       Track Issues on CORP RCM Tracker and ensure resolution and review to ensure that errors that have been resolved are not repeated

·       Collaborate and assist with preparation and presentation of Dashboards, Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews as well as any other RCM Operations presentations or reports

·       Collaborate with RCM Ops Team to provide reporting on Denial Trends and Root cause analysis.  Providing recommendations for remediation

·       Collaborate with RCM Ops Team to provide best practice recommendations for any processes where accuracy, timeliness and efficiency could be improved.  Share with Client and document responses, implementation or reason best practice not implemented (On RCM Corp Tracker)

·       Collaborate with the RCM Ops Team on SOP updates and ensure that SOPs are being updated and approved by Client any time changes are made.  Utilize SOP Tracker created by Jorie RCM Leadership, replace any existing SOP SS that are being used

·       Collaborate with RCM
OPS Team to identify process for sending claim level requests to Client for action. Ensure that there is a method for ensuring that tasks/escalations are actioned upon by Client and that any backlogs or delays are consistently communicated to the Client. Escalating to Client Executive leadership if necessary.

·       Ensure that escalations being sent to Client are accurate and all steps required of Jorie are being taken

·       Identify escalations or tasks that Jorie Team could be handling and discuss with Client to determine if those can be transitioned. (If out of scope, pricing and amendments may be required and discussion with Jorie RCM Leadership should take place)

·       Scope of Services being provided and identification of any services included in the SOW that we are not providing (work with Client to get these services added to Jorie scope or identified as permanently excluded (determine if amendment to SOW should be initiated), and any services that are not in the SOW but that are being completed (determine if amendment should be initiated)

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • 5 years of experience in Healthcare RCM in a leadership role. Thorough understanding of RCM operations and reporting requirements both Hospital and Professional Billing experience required
  • Experience overseeing or working with an Offshore Team is required
  • 2 years of experience with RPA preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience interacting and presenting to C-level executives
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, and compliance standards.
  • Preferred experience with Internal Medicine OBGYN/Family Practice, Pediatric hospitalist and sleep medicine specialty experience
  • Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and using RCM software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as required.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with internal business teams and convey complex reporting concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address reporting challenges and optimize data utilization.
  • Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail is critical to ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.
