This is a full-time career opportunity that can be based fully remote within the Fulton Bank footprint (DE, MD, NJ, PA, or VA). Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00.

Actively involved in quality assurance of new consumer credits. This includes, but is not limited to underwriting loan requests and assisting in the timely and accurate production of initial disclosures, ordering and analyzing all required supporting services and documentation, providing system and product policy guidance to the sale teams, and ensuring origination system is accurately completed prior to ordering documents.

  • Supports the Retail Lenders by Underwrites loan requests not to exceed individuals established authority and analyzes supporting documents and services providing feedback to lenders as necessary. Also identifies potential upsell and cross sell opportunities with these new loans in process. Working closely with lenders to recommend the most appropriate methods to properly document more complex transactions. Answering inquiries that may require further research and responsible for communicating effectively with lending employees, support staff and other bank staff to ensure the loan accurately represents the loan approval within bank policy. Communicating with in house legal counsel and compliance staff to ascertain the proper documentation required to protect the banks interests. Analyzes appraisals to validate accuracy and compliance with regulations and Fulton Financial Corporation policy elevating concerns to the Fulton Financial Corporation appraiser or designate. Also performs this same analysis for all Automated Valuation Models and Property Condition Reports. Communicates effectively with lenders to obtain the necessary critical information and supplemental information to properly process the loan within established timeframes.
  • Assists department manager in coordinating the daily work assignments for subordinates to ensure accuracy and completeness of all loans in a timely manner by Assisting less experienced staff by conducting a thorough review of the more complex loan requests from lenders to determine if all appropriate critical information is provided Assists staff and lenders to ensure compliance with Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Bank Secrecy Act Bank Secrecy Act, MDIA, HPML, HOEPA, Customer Identification Program, flood insurance requirements and other applicable regulations prior to ordering loan documents. Supports other staff members in more complex matters and addresses documentation issues of increased complexity with little or no assistance. processes loans and or allocates work assignments to other staff members to meet the closing deadlines and other time constraints.
Qualifications: Education

Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Relevant degree pertaining to the essential duties of this role. (Required)

Required Experience

3 or more years Consumer lending preferably with some Consumer Credit Administration and compliance or regulatory.
