As restaurants have rebounded and figured out how to make things work, we've continued to support our restaurants and help them look forward to a re-opened world.We've been working almost fully remotely since COVID, and though we expect some sort of in-office presence once it's safe, we are open to remote candidates for this role [and many roles] and we are all expected to work effectively with colleagues in-person or remotely.Check out our anonymous employee reviews on Glassdoor.Role: As part of the Vendor Partnerships team, you will be part of a new division within the company focused on growing and managing relationships with vendors, their sales reps, and restaurant customers. You will be coming in at the ground level to help carve out processes to make these partnerships successful. There is lots of room for growth, we are a small team and growing quickly.What you'll be doing:Call restaurants invited by their vendor to use MarginEdge (mix of warm and cold leads)Do research on each restaurant before calling to determine what type of location they are (standalone, multi-unit, etc)Input detailed and relevant notes for each restaurant in SalesforceUtilize Outreach ( for email communication to invited restaurantsSchedule discovery calls and demos for invited restaurants (you will eventually lead meetings with prospects once you're comfortable with the software)Once restaurants are onboarded, work with the Onboarding Manager and continue to oversee progression and engagement of these accountsSit-in on vendor meetings and provide thoughtful feedback on how conversations with their customers are goingWhat we're looking for:1-3 years of experience working in a restaurant, sales, or customer engagement rolePassionate about the restaurant industry and technologyThrive in a fast paced and startup environment - you're ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into whatever is thrown your wayQuick on your feet - you're comfortable making lots of calls and would enjoy learning about restaurants, vendor partners, and how to best support their needsYou enjoy building long lasting relationships and problem solvingProfessional, succinct writing skills.
