Job Description

This VoIP Technician will provide consultation, design, installation, support, configurations, updates/upgrades, troubleshooting and repair of voice network and system components and phone systems. This company is currently in the middle of a phone system migration/go-live. This person will act as a liaison between the VoIP provider and the Nextiva phone systems implementation team. This person will be responsible for setting up spreadsheets, assisting with the implementation, troubleshooting and supporting two Florida markets for remote support. Minimum Requirements- Experience as an install technician for phone systems- VoIP phone systems implementation experience - this person needs to be pretty hands on o Possess a working knowledge of installing, managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting all components of the VoIP system- Nextiva phone systems experience o Assist or implement Nextiva to customer networks while on site or Nextiva and 3rd party devices in relation to phone systemo Troubleshoot network device, Nextiva device - Experience troubleshooting and conducting over the phone/remote support to multiple locations during the go-live- Experience supporting telephone porting applications- Experience assisting with cancelling telephone contracts - Act as a liaison between VoIP and Nextiva implementation teams, provide strategic plans/ideas- Telephony background
