Job Description

Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the World Remote Subcontract Administrator IPAE is currently seeking a Remote Subcontract Administrator I to support our National Security Solutions Business Unit.Candidates in the DC Metro area are preferred.Primary responsibilities include:Prepares solicitation documentation for complex acquisitions to include statements of work, terms and conditions, flow-down terms and conditions, bid or performance evaluation factors, and other measures incorporated into the Requests for Proposal as may be appropriate for the procurement. Negotiate Subcontract Agreements, Teaming Agreements (TA), Consultant Agreements and Non-disclosure Agreements (NDA) with selected subcontractors, teammates, vendors and consultants.Consults with PAE technical staff, and resolves matters of disagreement between PAE and the potential subcontractor.Consults with company staff representing the legal, technical, financial, and managerial interests of the subcontract award and technical performance.Ensures the receipt, accuracy and timeliness of subcontractor submitted documents relating to the subcontract deliverables as well as monitoring performance relative to timeliness, cost considerations, and technical objectives.Prepares price and/or cost analyses using techniques other than adequate price competition. Regularly interacts with other Procurement staff and functional peer groups such as Contracts, Finance, Business Development, suppliers and internal clients.Represents procurement in interactions with senior management on a variety of subcontracting matters.Works on assignments that are of high complexity where analysis of routine and non-routine data is requiredQualificationsAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret level Security Clearance; Candidates with Active Security Clearances are preferredBachelor's degree in related discipline0-2 years of directly related experience in a government contracting environment preferredRequires strong oral and written communication skillsRequires ability to understand and interpret complex data and solve complex problemsDetail oriented and organized; able to read and interpret analysis, subcontracts, task orders and other documents and ensure accuracy.Specific Skills: Extensive experience with Microsoft Office software to include: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Projects.Costpoint experience is highly desired.Clearance: Secret or higher preferred but not required.PAE is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplacePAE is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
