This role is for a full-stack with an emphasis towards service design and development. You be part of a team of development engineers and technical program managers in an agile/SCRUM model to develop solutions and services. You will lead the technical direction for our team and be a trusted source of expertise for our wider organization. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS + 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems + 3+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design + 4+ years of professional software development experience + 2+ years of experience as a mentor, tech lead OR leading an engineering team PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS + Effective verbal and written communication skills + Proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms and data structures that will operate at potentially global scale. + Proficiency in the DevOps style of deployment + Proficiency in developing in a cloud-native environment + Knowledge of Application Security principles and how they impact development and deployment of applications. + Experience handing off and supporting maintainable code artifacts + Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical trials + Experience in an agile development environment + Experience with Cloud Operational Excellence practices + Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role + Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
