Job Description

Overview:
Black Box is looking to hire a Remote- Sales Engineering Manager who will manage a team of engineers supporting pre-sales and/or implementation of Black Box products, services and solutions. Responsible for various engineering support activities including one or more of the following: design and delivery of professional system consulting, solution development, sales presentation planning and delivery, and overall system engineering for voice, wireless, networking and other solutions.Learn more about Black Box at: locations - Dallas, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Atlanta, Phoenix, Raleigh, Charlotte, Minneapolis, Cleveland

Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing engineering support and implementation/support services for products, systems, applications and networks for a diverse customer base.Evaluates and recommends new products and services; provides technical input for Requests for Proposals (RFPs); reviews proposals, quotes and other documents for engineering accuracy and feasibility.Develops engineering standards and processes ensuring high quality systems design, quotes and project implementation to achieve customer satisfaction while meeting business objectives.Meets with customers and formalizes assessments from a proposal product availability and installation view point on large sales opportunities. Considers strategic impact of engineering decisions to ensure customer's needs are anticipated.Works with Sales, internal support teams and external stakeholders to deliver a collaborative solution offering.Responsible for assigning and scheduling enginners and technical work team.May be responsible for warranty and maintenance technical support.

Qualifications:
