Job Description

SUMMARYThe Project Manager Marketing Operations will manage the overall planning, control, status reporting and delivery of a low to high complexity projects to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within the agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirements.This role serves as a central point between the Creative team and other departments within the organization to ensure that projects are completed successfully. The ideal candidate for this role is a strong communicator and problem solver with an ability to motivate and rally project teams.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:Manage and prioritize concurrent creative projects of low, medium and high complexity from kick-off to completion, including the creation of project schedules, tracking and ensuring all deliverables are met and regularly communicating status with all team membersManage the overall planning, control, status reporting and delivery of projects from start to completion to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within the agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirementsOversee schedules/timelines for all agency/production vendorsFacilitate meetings with collaborators and circulate actionable notesSupport in the establishment and rollout of new processes and procedures that will contribute better team communication and project documentationDevelop relationships with and ensures the appropriate participation of key client stakeholders and client executivesLeverage best practices and applies lessons learned from previous projects. Actively shares knowledge and learning from project experiencesAttends briefings and design presentations with stakeholders, performing as an information sourceDevelops and manages timelines on all projects, tracking/reporting on time delivery or alterations of the timeline to the key stakeholdersImplement project schedules and coordinate resources ensuring all activity is completed to the agreed deadlinesEnsure a positive, collaborative work environment for the team. Encourage the development of team mentality and a creative, innovative and masterful work cultureSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position directly supervises Advertising Administrator, and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Rite Aid policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, directing, rewarding, and disciplining associates; appraising associate performance; and resolving complaints Experience / Requirements 5 years of experience in Project Management in marketing and advertising environment, ideally in retail channel required5 years of experience in Experience working in an agency/production department environment, collaborating with all levels of creative skillset (Creative Directors, Copywriters, Designer, Quality control, etc.) required5 years of experience in Experience in artwork and production process (life cycles and copywriting) required3 years of experience in Demonstrated experience in managing projects of low, medium and high complexity to successful completion; able to handle multiple concurrent projects required Education Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Marketing, Advertising, Project Management required
